In the heart of the Corbières-Fenouillèdes Regional Natural Park, between the Mediterranean Sea, vineyards and mountains, Tautavel is an ideal starting point for discovering the Pyrénées-Orientales, the Cathar castles, the beaches of the Côte Vermeille or even nearby Spain.

It is here, in this village surrounded by cliffs, vineyards and scrubland, that Origines welcomes you for a break of calm, rest and discovery.

A refuge for those who love unique places, beautiful encounters and journeys that sometimes begin without leaving the village.

The house

This house was built over the years.

With childhood memories in Catalonia, years in Paris, travels, accumulated books, preserved recipes, objects brought back or passed on, and numerous encounters.

All of this has gradually found its place in this old village house of 400 m2

Four large bedrooms.

Four atmospheres.

Books, objects and souvenirs scattered throughout the house. A rooftop in the sun.
A cooler terrace on the north side.
A garden with a large jacuzzi under the trees.
A wellness area with sauna and massage room.
A living room.
A large kitchen to share.

Places to chat over tea, a drink or a meal.

Others are for reading, dreaming, or quietly isolating oneself for a few hours.

The large, fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal throughout your stay.

The village has several restaurants as well as a small supermarket within walking distance.

For evenings when you don't feel like cooking or going out again, we also offer some sharing platters to enjoy on site.

Hiking, swimming in the gorges, vineyards, climbing cliffs and a Museum of Prehistory.

And around it:

Catalan villages, markets, coves, Cathar castles, magnificent roads and local producers.

At breakfast, we gladly share our favorite spots, our preferred routes and some lesser-known places.

House reserved for adults.

Two parking spaces are available opposite the house.

Enclosed garage for bicycles and motorcycles.

The house has many stairs and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
